AUTUMN MORNING

Many birthdays come
Many will go
But those spent with the ones
Who care enough
To laugh with you
Even though their lives are messed up
To drown a black hole,
Are special.

I see you with my eyes closed
When I open them
I can see you no more.
I search everywhere
But don't know where I left you last time.
Is it When I saw you crying in pain for someone
Who was never meant to be for you
And how my heart broke into thousand pieces
Again and again
But alas, I found no voice to impose
And my feet walked away
Or did they?
Perhaps it is where we first met
We talked for awhile
And I stared and stared at you
Silently praying to the one above all the time
To do a miracle, anything,to sync and bind us together
In this life,
Not the next
Like a selfish glutton ,
But then I woke up.
It was past midnight
And here I was
Wondering whether it would rain today
And how it might affect the autumn morning.
